Reviewers contribute directly to the scientific quality and integrity of Journal of Current Medical Research and Opinion. Reviews should be independent, confidential, constructive and based on scholarly evidence.
A reviewer should accept an invitation only when the manuscript falls within the reviewer area of competence, sufficient time is available and no conflict of interest prevents impartial assessment.
The manuscript and associated material must be treated as confidential. Reviewers must not distribute, upload, publicly discuss or use unpublished information for personal or professional advantage.
Reviewers should consider originality, research design, methodology, statistical analysis, ethical compliance, interpretation, presentation, references and whether the conclusions are supported by the evidence.
Comments should clearly distinguish essential scientific concerns from optional suggestions. Personal criticism, discriminatory language and hostile or dismissive remarks are unacceptable.
Suspected plagiarism, duplicate publication, fabricated or falsified data, inappropriate image manipulation, undisclosed conflicts or other integrity concerns should be communicated confidentially to the editor.
Reviewers should not request citations primarily to increase citations to themselves, their associates or a particular journal. Suggested references should have a genuine scholarly justification.
Reviewers remain personally accountable for their reports. Confidential manuscript content must not be uploaded to external generative-AI systems where doing so could compromise confidentiality, privacy, intellectual property or journal policy.
