Author Guidelines

Authors submitting manuscripts to Journal of Current Medical Research and Opinion are expected to follow internationally accepted standards of scientific reporting, research ethics and publication integrity.

Before Submission

The corresponding author should confirm that the manuscript is original, has been approved by all authors, is not simultaneously under consideration by another journal and appropriately acknowledges previously published work.

Reporting Standards

Authors should use an appropriate reporting guideline for the study design whenever one is available. Examples include CONSORT for randomized trials, STROBE for observational studies, PRISMA for systematic reviews and meta-analyses, CARE for case reports and other recognised EQUATOR Network reporting guidelines.

Essential Declarations

Where applicable, manuscripts should contain statements concerning ethical approval, informed consent, clinical trial registration, funding, conflicts of interest, author contributions and data availability.

Authorship

Every listed author must have made a meaningful scholarly contribution, approve the submitted version and accept accountability for the work. Individuals who contributed but do not satisfy authorship requirements should be acknowledged with their permission.

Language and Presentation

Manuscripts should be written in clear scholarly English. Authors are responsible for scientific accuracy, terminology, references, statistical reporting and the quality of tables and figures.

Originality

Submitted manuscripts may be screened using similarity-detection or other research-integrity tools. Similarity reports are interpreted in context and are not used as a substitute for editorial judgement.

Publication Charge

For accepted articles, the standard Article Processing Charge is USD 500. Payment is considered only after editorial acceptance and must not influence peer review or editorial decision-making. Eligible authors may request a waiver in accordance with the journal Fee Waiver Policy.

Open Access

Published articles are made openly available under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) licence. Authors retain copyright in their work subject to the publication licence granted to the journal.
