Journal of Current Medical Research and Opinion operates an open-access publishing model intended to provide readers with immediate access to published scholarly content while supporting the operational costs of journal publication.
The journal's principal author-facing publication charge is the Article Processing Charge. The standard APC is USD 160 for an accepted article.
Authors are not charged merely for submitting a manuscript or for having a manuscript undergo editorial assessment or peer review.
Eligible authors may request full or partial APC waivers according to the journal's Fee Waiver Policy. Ability to pay does not determine scientific acceptance.
Revenue may be used to support journal administration, editorial workflows, publishing infrastructure, website operation, article production, metadata management, digital dissemination and preservation-related activities.
If advertising, sponsorship or other revenue sources are used, they must remain separate from scientific editorial decisions and should be disclosed when relevant.
The APC is a publication charge and must not be represented as a payment for indexing, citations, impact metrics or inclusion in any external bibliographic database.
Financial sustainability does not override scientific standards. Editors must be able to reject manuscripts that do not meet Journal of Current Medical Research and Opinion requirements regardless of potential publication revenue.
