Journal of Current Medical Research and Opinion maintains editorial policies intended to protect scientific quality, editorial independence, research integrity and fair treatment of authors, reviewers and readers.
Scientific decisions are based on the relevance, originality, methodological quality, ethical acceptability and evidential strength of submitted work. Commercial considerations, APC payment, sponsorship or personal relationships must not determine editorial decisions.
Manuscripts are evaluated without discrimination based on nationality, ethnicity, gender, religion, political belief, institutional affiliation or other characteristics unrelated to scholarly merit.
Editors and reviewers must treat unpublished manuscripts, correspondence and peer-review material as confidential and use them only for legitimate editorial purposes.
Editors, reviewers and authors must disclose relevant interests. Editors should recuse themselves from manuscripts for which their relationships or interests could reasonably compromise impartial judgement.
Potential fabrication, falsification, plagiarism, image manipulation, duplicate publication, inappropriate authorship, citation manipulation or other misconduct may be investigated before or after publication.
When reliable evidence demonstrates that the published record requires correction, clarification, expression of concern or retraction, Journal of Current Medical Research and Opinion will take proportionate action and preserve the scholarly record.
