Publication Charges

Journal of Current Medical Research  and Opinion operates an open-access publishing model. The journal seeks to make all publication charges transparent to authors before they submit their work.

Article Processing Charge

The standard Article Processing Charge (APC) for an article accepted for publication is USD 160.

When the APC Becomes Payable

The APC becomes applicable only after a manuscript has completed the editorial and peer-review process and has received a formal acceptance decision. Authors are not required to pay an APC merely to submit a manuscript or to have a manuscript peer reviewed.

Editorial Independence

The ability or inability of an author to pay the APC must not influence peer review, reviewer selection or the scientific decision on a manuscript. Editors and reviewers involved in scientific assessment should not make acceptance decisions on the basis of payment status.

What the APC Supports

Publication charges contribute to editorial administration, manuscript processing, online publication, article hosting, metadata preparation, digital publishing infrastructure and long-term journal operations.

Waivers

Authors who meet the journal waiver criteria may request a full or partial waiver. Waiver requests should be made according to the Fee Waiver Policy and, wherever possible, before an invoice is issued.

No Guarantee of Acceptance

Payment of any charge does not guarantee acceptance, favourable peer review, expedited editorial treatment or inclusion in any bibliographic database.

Indexing Disclaimer

Publication charges are fees for publication services only. They must not be represented as payments for indexing, citation, impact metrics or database inclusion.
