Plagiarism Policy

Journal of Current Medical Research  and Opinion requires submitted work to be original and appropriately attributed. Plagiarism, misleading reuse of previously published material and misrepresentation of another person's intellectual contribution are inconsistent with responsible scholarly publication.

Similarity Screening

Submissions may be evaluated using similarity-detection software or other research-integrity tools before or during editorial assessment. A similarity percentage alone does not establish plagiarism; reports are interpreted in context.

Forms of Unacceptable Reuse

Concerns may include unattributed copying of text, ideas, data or figures; inappropriate paraphrasing; duplicate or redundant publication; substantial undisclosed text recycling; or presentation of previously published work as new.

Author Responsibility

Authors must cite the original source of ideas, text, methods, data and illustrations where attribution is required. Quoted material should be clearly identified and used only where appropriate.

Duplicate and Redundant Publication

Authors should disclose closely related manuscripts, preprints or previous publications where necessary for editorial assessment. The same research should not be simultaneously submitted to multiple journals.

Editorial Action

When a concern is identified before publication, the journal may request clarification, source material or revision, reject the manuscript or take further action where warranted. For published articles, the journal may investigate and issue a correction, expression of concern or retraction depending on the reliability and seriousness of the findings.
