Journal of Current Medical Research and Opinion is an international scholarly journal dedicated to the publication and dissemination of scientifically rigorous research in clinical medicine, therapeutics, pharmacotherapy, patient-centred care and translational medical research.
The journal provides a platform for clinicians, medical researchers, pharmaceutical scientists, healthcare professionals and other investigators to communicate research that may contribute to the understanding, prevention, diagnosis, treatment and management of human disease.
Journal of Current Medical Research and Opinion seeks to support responsible and transparent scholarly communication. Editorial decisions are based on the scientific quality, originality, methodological soundness, ethical acceptability, clarity and relevance of submitted work. Commercial considerations, author nationality, institutional affiliation or ability to pay publication charges must not determine editorial decisions.
The journal welcomes clinically relevant research involving therapeutics, clinical pharmacology, pharmacotherapy, diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, clinical outcomes, precision medicine, evidence-based medicine, drug safety, public health therapeutics and translational research.
The journal is intended for physicians, clinical researchers, pharmacists, pharmaceutical scientists, biomedical researchers, healthcare professionals, academics, postgraduate researchers and policy professionals interested in clinical and therapeutic research.
Journal of Current Medical Research and Opinion may consider original research articles, systematic reviews, meta-analyses, narrative reviews, clinical studies, observational studies, case reports or case series when scientifically justified, brief reports, methodological papers, perspectives, editorials and other scholarly contributions that fall within the journal scope.
Research articles selected for external assessment undergo double-anonymous peer review by a minimum of two independent reviewers. The journal maintains policies covering authorship, conflicts of interest, research ethics, clinical trials, plagiarism, data availability, artificial intelligence, corrections, retractions, complaints and appeals.
JMTCR supports open scholarly communication while recognizing that publication standards must be maintained through independent editorial judgement, appropriate peer review and responsible post-publication correction of the scientific record.
