Editorial Process

Journal of Current Medical Research  and Opinion uses a structured editorial process designed to separate administrative handling, scientific assessment, independent peer review and final editorial decision-making.

1. Submission

A manuscript is submitted through the journal platform together with the required metadata and declarations.

2. Administrative Screening

The journal office may check manuscript completeness, authorship information, files, declarations, references, ethical statements and compliance with basic submission requirements.

3. Editorial Screening

An editor assesses whether the manuscript is within scope and whether its research question, methodology, reporting, originality and ethical basis are sufficiently appropriate to justify external review.

4. Integrity Checks

Where appropriate, submissions may undergo similarity screening and checks concerning research ethics, trial registration, data consistency, figures, images, authorship or other integrity matters.

5. External Peer Review

Research manuscripts proceeding to external review are evaluated using a double-anonymous process. At least two independent reviewers with relevant subject expertise are normally required.

6. Revision

Authors may be asked to revise the manuscript and respond point-by-point to editorial and reviewer comments. Revision does not guarantee acceptance.

7. Editorial Decision

The handling editor evaluates the complete record, including reviewer reports and author responses. The final decision may be acceptance, further revision or rejection.

8. Production

Accepted manuscripts proceed to publication preparation, metadata checks, formatting and proof review. Production changes must not alter scientific meaning without author/editor approval.

9. Publication and Post-Publication Review

Published work remains subject to correction or other post-publication action if substantive errors or integrity concerns subsequently emerge.

Special Issues

Special-issue submissions are expected to meet the same ethical, peer-review and scientific standards as regular submissions. Guest editors must not bypass the journal peer-review process, and submissions involving guest editors must be handled independently when a conflict exists.
